I'm finally back from my trip, so I'm going to blog what I been doing for the past week in Malaysia. It's going to be a long blog, so bear with it.Day 1: 09/06/08 Yesterday, my family and I left for Johor Bahru. On the way there, somewhere on the causeway, a dog got banged down by a car and the owner of the car was trying to move it to the side. It was so scary seeing to see the dog's mouth bleed. The road through immigration was so long, and that whole time, the adults in the car were talking just as long, leaving us "children" out. I disliked that alot. It felt as if though we were too young to handle some kind of worldly affairs or something. By the time we went through the security checkpoints, it was already 1715! We left the house at 1500! So many people were going to JB on the same day. Once we got to JB, I was sent alot of advertisement and my phone could not send any sms anymore. OMG. I couldn't contact anyone from there onwards. Once we collected our car, we went to Hotel Selesa. After that, we went to eat dinner, then went to Giant to buy some food for the rest of the trip. When we drove back to the hotel, my dad drove back to Singapore to pick the rest of the family up. Since it is now way early in the morning, my phone is useless, I have no computer by my side, my world is like a living hell. And the worst part is that I missed Pastor Tan's service just to pass through 2 hours of immigration. You can guess how pissed off I was with my dad. But since everything has happened now, I might as well forgive and forget. I'm now sitting at the table waiting for the time to pass, hoping that the rest of the trip would be a happy one, and that I'll be able to contact my friends soon. Stopping here for today. Day 2: 10/06/08 I just figured that I always write what happens a day later. So there wasn't much about yesterday. Most of the time, we were in the squished van, traveling from Johor to Kuantan. We had only 2 stops on that 4 hour trip. If you couldn't fall asleep, there was nothing much more you could do. As for me, I couldn't sleep through the whole journey. So I actually thought of stuff and kept wanting to keep going to the toilet. That dream of mine during that time was only fulfilled, 2 and a half hours after waiting. It took me alot of time to ease my self. Phew. When we arrived at Holiday Villas Hotel in Kuantan, the service there was not very good. There was a guy at the reception, and he was also the bellboy and security guard, as there was no one else to do anything. The 2 suites we booked were non-air conditioned. Thank God. Also, each suite had only 4 beds, so my brother, my maid and I had to sleep on the daybeds there. It is a sofa cum bed thingy, and it is very comfortable. Right now, I'm thinking of all my friends and also of God. I can't contact them or even call them. I hope to see all of them very soon. =D Day 3: 11/06/08 I woke up early to go to the beach yesterday. The tide was very low, so there were many things on the shore. Then I saw alot of jellyfishes, dead on the sand. One of them had a crab inside it! Cool. Got myself abit wet and smelly. Now afew of my clothes stink quite badly because of the water. Continued the day by going to eat lunch and shopping for food. Came back at around 5+. Oh! And I went swimming before we left. So now, I'm darker than usual and my skin started to peel quite alot. When we came back, I went to the beach again and also went to the souvenir shop. I bought a stick of mentos and a shell with the word "Cherating" on it. Isn't it cool? Yeah! Then I had steamboat with my family last night. It was good, then I fell asleep on the daybed. I actually noticed that I was growing fatter but atleast also taller. I used my sister as a measurement. Haha. Don't tell her I said that. I miss all my friends and I hope to see them soon because I feel like I'm dying here right now. Haha. Day 4: 12/06/08 I'm in the toilet writing about today. I felt like the toilet was the cosiest place of the whole suite because I could have privacy. I feel like the toilet was the best room out of the suite. Weird huh? Today, I woke up but fell back to sleep again. I was woken up to bring my aunt and uncle to eat breakfast. When we came back, we left to go to some Plaza, somewhere else in Kuantan. That was where I finally received my sms from Amiruddin, asking me to pass him my psp. Sadly, I couldn't send anything back. We also went to Kenny Rogers to eat lunch. Yum...(Word of advice: do not eat their spaghetti or pasta there. It is really uncooked) When we came back, I went to swim then went to the beach again. Dug 3 holes in the sand. Hahaha... Also got a nice massage from the sea. When I went back to the suite for steamboat dinner, again, I watched Ironman. Felt so bored so now I'm in the toilet, ending my post because I'm falling asleep on the toilet seat. Missing all my friends alot alot alot... Day 5: 13/06/08 Warning, do not eat eggs cooked sunny- side up at Holiday Villa Hotel. You will get a very bad stomachache. Haha. It's very true. Yesterday, we left Cherating and headed for Kualar Lumpur. Another long trip on the car. Halfway, we had to have a pit stop to recharge on petrol. When we reached KL, we checked in at Hilton Hotel, Petaling Java. Our plan on a 2 night stay became 1 because my dad was pissed off with their service there. We then later went to Restaurant Okay for dinner. When we came back, I wanted to fall asleep but couldn't because my uncle was watching the tv and wouldn't shut up. I was pissed and fell asleep only at about 12.30am. Bad day. Missing all my friends very very badly. Day 6: 13/06/08 Had a grumpy day today. I'll tell you why later on. We left the hotel at 9.30. Then we went to eat breakfast at Old Town White Coffee. The food and drinks there are awesome. Go there and try the food there next time. After eating such a heavy breakfast, we skipped lunch and went for another 2 hour trip from KL to Melaka. No pit-stops. Couldn't sleep either. So felt like going to the toilet quite alot. Hehe. Arrived at Straits Meridian Hotel at 4+. This was the hotel I stayed at during my primary 5 camp. Good old times. Left to eat dinner at a Chicken Rice Ball restaurant. Not really nice rice balls. Tasted like longtong instead. Later went to Tan Kim Huat to buy stuff. The family started fighting then ended into a sad situation with everyone angry. Went to shop at a pasa malam and bought some stuff here and there. Missing my friends alot. God bring them back to me. Day 7: The Day I Come Back I finally feel happy since this was the last day I'm going to be in Malaysia. Weehee! Cleared the place fast in the morning. Left the place early and went for a pit stop at KFC and bought a fries and huge milo. Sat for another 2 hour trip back to Singapore. Reached home at around 4.30. Rushed to church at fast as I could with my sister. Reached church at 5.30. Still quite ok lah. It was an awesome seminar. I'm also sooooo happy to be back with all my friends. I ran out of clothes so I wore my pe clothes. Haha. Went to eat with Jian Ming and F3 and B1 people. So fun to talk to them and enjoyed the food alot. Then Jian Ming tried to do a magic trick. Haha. He said that we need to have faith and believe the trick will work. Haha. It was so funny while Xin Chi sat there like a dead person after usher duty. Poor him. So thats much about what happened. Happy to be back in Singapore. I got alot of chewing gum. Countdown: 7 days We love Singapore!!! Labels: I missed everyone alot |
